Student attendance and private lesson requirements are less strict and may contact administrator to change dates of attendance each week.

1) ACTING WORKSHOP (AGES 7-19):

CFA proudly presents our new acting workshop taught by James Yi who has earned an award nomination for his stage play as store owner Appa in "Kim's Convenience", and he also has a recurring role on the hit TV show.

We are looking forward to inspired students 7-19 years of age who are interested in acting and improving their communication skills in a professional and fun environment.

Since last year, everything is moving towards online including classes, presentations, and meetings, which gives us unprecedented chances to present ourselves in front of the camera. James will be teaching on how to present and act naturally in front of the camera. James will also share the basic knowledge and tips of being on a film set.

Jill Raymond is a Multi-Talented Award-Winning International Performance Artiste. Over the last ten years she has trained, performed and worked on three continents as an Actress, Singer, Dancer, Performer, Facilitator, Songwriter, Teacher, Choreographer, Model, Puppeteer, Skin Performer, Producer, Director... You name it, she has probably lent her hand (or face or body or voice) to it - the living breathing Jill-of-all-Trades, constantly developing and refining her skills in her craft.

This program will be more focused on learning and rehearsing for a short film which will take place in June 2021, a performance and platform for the students to practically apply what they learned from the workshop.

MUSICAL TRAINING PROGRAM (AGES 4-14):

Musical training and rehearsals on CFA's annual musical performance "JONAH" on November 28th, 2015. This program consists of dancing, acting, and singing where students will receive training in all 3 areas. All the main and supporting roles of "JONAH" will be selected from this program.

CHORAL TRAINING PROGRAM (AGES 4-14):

Choral training and rehearsals on CFA's annual musical performance "JONAH" on November 28th, 2015. This program only consists of singing where students will be performing as a children's choir in "JONAH." This is the perfect program for new students or families who would prefer less commitment towards the annual performance.

SUMMER WEEKDAY CAMP (AGES 4-14):

Based on the music materials of CFA's annual musical performance "JONAH," this program consists of dancing, acting, and fine-arts (ie. props for "JONAH") where students will receive lessons in all 3 areas. This is the perfect program for new students who would like to get a taste of CFA. Students enrolled in this program are not obligated to join our regular training programs.

Monday to Friday (10 days, 60 hours)

PER CAMP ($9/hr) : $270 for the entire week (lumpsum payment)

OPEN HOUSE / ORIENTATION FOR CFA PROGRAM 2015

We will have an open house / orientation for all prospective students and families on January 17, 2015 at 4-5pm. All existing students and families should attend if they wish to obtain more information about our 2015 program (ie. new musical and performance). Auditions will be between January 19-25, 2015, by appointment. There will be snacks, drinks, and games as well as the presentation. Looking forward to meet with you!

FALL PROGRAM 2014
(September - December)

This Fall program consists of training in singing, dancing, and acting, along with rehearsals to prepare our students for upcoming shows and productions, such as the "Yeah Show 2014” in September and our big annual children’s Christmas musical in December.

• Early Childhood Development Program:
  Sep 6 - Dec 20 All Saturdays (4:30pm - 5:15pm) $30/month, or $27/month if you bring a new friend or a sibling

• may get to perform in the Christmas Musical as well based on their individual performances in class

Ages 4-14 (by audition):
(a "new friend" refers to anyone who has never participated in any CFA classes before)

• Training and Performing Program:
  Sep 6 - Dec 20 All Saturdays (3:45pm - 6:45pm) $600/term (or $165/stall), or $525/term (or $145/stall) if you bring a new friend or a sibling

• Training Only Program:
  Sep 6 - Dec 20 All Saturdays (3:45pm - 5:15pm) $60/month, or $55/month if you bring a new friend or a sibling

Please kindly note for Training and Performing Program: 
Every Saturday from 3:45pm to 6:45pm until Christmas musical performance in December.
Additional rehearsals on either Monday or Thursday nights from 3:45pm to 6:45pm in Nov-Dec ONLY.
22 classes in total plus 2 big performances.
